Wonderful architectural site, historic Arifail Mosque was built in the sixteenth century during Mughal period in Sarail upazila of Brahmanbaria district. According to local myth , Dervish Shah Arif built/founded the mosque in 1662, and the mosque was named after him accordingly.
The three-domed Arifail Mosque has a height of 70 feet 6 inches and walls are 5 feet 6 inches thick with inspiring style of interior craftsmanship. Four octagonal minarets occupy four corners of the mosque.
